Waaaaayy back when Queenie was a theatre gypsy I explored and practice all forms of creative adventures full tilt… When Queenie’s muse led her to blogland last year the need to revisit a long forgotten creative adventure floated to the surface… Sketching Queenie’s more or less weekly Wordless Wednesday posts are my sketching exercises in my beautiful handmade journal pictured here. Which, as you recall I received from Amber at Making My Rent.
Yesterday in the wee hours of the morning B the Brave set off on his long trip back to Afghanistan after a week’s leave with the Queenie Mother and Father at the homestead in beautiful Ohio. This is the Queenie Father with B the Brave just as they were heading off to the airport.
This is the Queenie Mother with B the Brave, both bravely holding back goodbye tears.
Please hold B the Brave in your thoughts and prayers for safety, health and length of days in his beloved military career.
Have a great day,

From an old Navy man, I wish him fair winds, and following seas!
May the Lord hold B in the palm of His hand and guide him and protect him during his brave journey to protect our freedom.
Your post and your pictures are very powerful.
Peace,

I prayed for safety and a safe return home in future, for B the Brave.
Oh Queenie, I feel the sadness at having to say goodbye. B the Brave is in my prayers and he is held safely in the arms of Love.
B the Brave and all of our military folk and family are in our prayers.
Good that he got to see the Queenie Mother and Father in the kingdom of Ohio.
