Happy Blue Moon Friday Away the Mundane!
Did you know…
In honor of this auspicious occasion in the stratosphere Queenie and Delicious have selected a few numbers from days gone by…
Oh to sing like Patsy Cline, a super secret wish of Queenie’s.
Next up the original version of Blue Moon on the big screen…
There is something magical about black and white film to whisk us away from the mundane in blue moon flights of fancy.
Have a wonderful weekend!

I wish it would really be blue.I'm googling it to find out more about it.Then tonight I'll make sure to check it out :)
I wish I could see you more often- even once in a blue moon would work for me!

You have a wonderful weekend, too, Queenie! I'm a fan of Patsy Cline and old black and white movies also.
Blessings,
Victoria
ahhh Patsy's Blue moon is my favorite!!
Dear Queenie,
I love this post! Patsy Cline's Blue Moon of Kentucky is just the best...and B&W films...well, in my family they are tops! My daughters, old souls that they are, actually got me started on them. My youngest daughter, Katie, got her degree in Film Preservation, and did her internships summer-before-last at the National Archives in DC, and at TCM in Atlanta...(she got to put together the montage of clips of stars who had passed on that year, 2010)~ I have a cute pic of her sitting in Robert Osborne's chair ~ :)
As always, thank you for your sweet comments on my blog!
Hugs,
Anne

Fabulous Queenie and to include a song I adore.
Have you ever heard it sung by Eddie Reader, she is a Scottish singer (one time of Fairground Attraction) with the most incredible voice.
Wishes to you
Lynne
