Smiling Things

Things that make Queenie smile with the joy of having...
One of a kind treasure that is all mine.

Owen, the mohair bear specially hand created by a treasured teddy artist friend.
Owen is a wee bit Scottish yet hails from copper country in Arizona. He is a loving bear always at the ready to teach others how to count using his cute little toes.

A one of a kind miniature journal and mystical cameo
Old timey and inviting, perfect for the jotting of the smallest of magical musings

These are a few of the things that make Queenie smile.
I hope they made you smile too!
What treasures make you smile with the joy of having?

Have a great day!

I have a cameo that my Steve bought me on our first anniversary. He only had $5 to spend and purchased it at the local pharmacy. It is priceless to me and will always be my favorite piece of jewelry.
I also have a brochure that my grandpa gave to my grandma. It is a horses head in the middle of a horseshoe. He saw it in a store one day and it reminded him of the day they met. They met on a merry-go-round. Isn't that romantic. It probably cost all of a dime or a quarter back then, but it is my other priceless treasure.

Queenie, you are a darling. . . thanks for the sweet words about my journal. Connie :)

Queenie
If Ted ever finds the soaring heat of Arizona too much to bear (Heh! Heh!) then he is more than welcome to have an extended vacation (read that as permanent) here in Scotland. I am sure he would feel right at home :)
I was never a doll person, my heart was always to my teddy especially the one I received for a Christening gift as an infant. I still have him to this day.
Beautiful post.
Wishes
Lynne

He is SO cute! I love his treasures.
I have my uncle's very old straw stuffed bear and she is wearing my aunt's timepiece around her neck with some old tatting.
