Queenie’s Court awoke to grey drizzly skies
Not your typical weather forecast in the Valley of the Sun
A needed gentle washing of the Hermoso Castillo
And a scrubbing hail exfoliation
Round white ice nestle like creamed peas in the winter rye
The desert magic quickly changes grey skies
Dappled sun returns to dry the freshly cleansed
And Beautiful Blue Desert Skies return
Like a never forgotten promise
Have a great day!

And "the sun came out like a big yellow duster polishing the blue, blue skies"!
Have a lovely week.

Ahhh, the desert, a mediteranean girl myself, the ground so dry even the slightest rain rushes over red ruts in the fields and track - quite the opposite in spring this side o the world, where fleeting gimpses of sun through cool air and earth, holds promise of cleansing, rebirth and lifting of the soul.
Queenie, I like that "like a never forgotten promise." From rain and hail to return to sun.
It doesn't take long for the beautiful desert skies to return. They just can't seem to stay hidden long behind the clouds!

Beautiful photos! I am so excited for Spring here. I can't wait for the warmer weather to be where I am consistently.
Thank you for your sweet comment. Being a wife and mother is absolutely the greatest vocation. I think there were many days where I took that for granted!
It made for a great morning to take a nap...and I did! :o)

Wow! Crazy weather! We usually have snow this time of year, but it was 80 degrees today! Congrats on winning Cindy's Mixed Media book!
Hugs,
"the other Cindy!"
The weather is simply mad I tell you! In our neck of the woods on Wednesday it was 27 degrees C. Tonight it's meant to go down to -19 c. That's 50 degrees difference almost! Insanity!
