Queenie’s Wee Give-Away

February 1 is Saint Brigid of Ireland day.  A little known holiday that is very special to Queenie and Honey Man as it is our wedding anniversary.

In honor of Saint Brigid and in thanksgiving for four wonderful years with Honey Man, Queenie will have her first wee give-way.

In Ireland tis tradition for school children to make St. Brigid crosses out of rushes and give them to the folks of their village.  Alas, Queenie's kingdom in Arizona does not grow rushes but I did find a suitable replacement for the crafting of a cross for this 1st give-away.

Queenie also found a wee cloisonné bell perfect for tea parties and ringing in waves of happiness to sweep aside any winter blues that can hide in the corners about this time of year.

Queenie’s first wee give-way includes…
*UPDATED 2/6/12*
2 Irish Lucky Randomly Selected Winners
Will receive a Saint Brigid cross and tiny tea bell

How to enter and win… Only two baby steps…

1.   Leave Queenie a comment, and
2.   Kindly be a follower of Queenie’s wee blog

*UPDATED 2/6/12*
On February 13, 2012, Queenie will post the randomly selected winners.

The best of Irish luck to all.

Have a great day.

Always, Queenie Believe

Dear Queenie, congratulations on your wedding anniversary and on those St Bridgit's crosses - they are not that easy to make. I have a very special place in my heart for Bridgit and I spent some time in Kildare with the Brigidine nuns and tried my hand at those crosses - they can be quite tricky. Stop by tomorrow at Path of Divine Love and read some more about my pilgrimage. blessings
