Harvest Time!!!
Harvest Time???
Yes! Its Harvest Time in Arizona!
Our beautiful citrus is at the ripening ready…
Orange orbs of love
Lemons on the verge
A bumper crop me thinks
Where last year they were only three
This year there is a mighty crop
Ripe and…
Ready to be picked
Donned in his picking gear Honey Man climbed the ladder and
With much anticipation the picking began
And continued...
Until just right
Queenie foresees orange juice in the very near future
For Christmas the Queenie Mother and Father gifted us with a beautiful Juicer, yeah!!
With oranges in hand
The peeling began
Both Queenie and Honey Man at the task
Even though Queenie got a little side tracked making orange rind roses...
There was enough to let the juicing begin
The royal kitchen filled with the wonderful aroma of oranges as the juicing commenced
Within mere moments there was juice… even enough to share
Cheers!
Have a great day!

Happy new year Queenie! Your oranges look delicious! Will you make anything else apart from juice?
Looks delicious!
This looks delicious!
Happy new year:)
Oh Queenie my G-Son would die for a Lemon Tree like yours! Ours bit the dust last Season when it was so hot, it was a young Tree and it just couldn't cope with those 116-119 degree weeks we were having this past Summer. What a bountiful Harvest you have... alas, when we purchased this Old House the Property had been in Probate for almost 3 years and all of the non-native Citrus Trees had died off since nobody was taking care of them or watering them. A shame because our property is almost 100 years old so all of the landscaping was quite mature.
Thanks for stopping by with encouraging words, I took a full day to myself today to get out in the Sunshine, Shop and have Lunch in Downtown Glendale... I also scheduled a consultation with my Chinese Doctor/Acupuncturist/Herbalist so I should be back to Center soon!

I can't believe you are actually harvesting oranges in Arizona at this time of the year. Give me a break!!! ;) Thanks for sharing your January fun with all of us. Why is it that I crave a glass of fresh orange juice right now?!
