Travel Time – Getty Villa – IV

I hope you have enjoyed sharing in Queenie and Honey Man’s royal visit to the Getty Villa…Alas, this is the last installment of our adventure. Part I can be found here, Part II, here; and Part III here.

The main museum building overlooks the formal garden (outer peristyle)

which features a reflecting pool

a very long…

long…

Reflecting pool

With majestic sculpture at either end

Taking in the California sun

Flanking either side of the reflecting pool are immaculately groomed shrubbery

Corners to gather

Arbors to relax under

And grand walkways to stroll and waltz

Queenie’s Honey Man has a great affinity for trees, this being his favorite in the gardens

I will close our royal visit with this happiest of trees magically lit by the setting autumn sun.

Have a great day!

Always, Queenie

Beautiful, Queenie! What lovely photojournalism!
Your article makes a place where I have yet to visit all the more real, even a wee bit personal.
And TY for your lovely comment!
