Travel Time – Getty Villa – III

As you recall Queenie was regaling you with tales of her royal visit to the Getty Villa with Honey Man… Part I can be found here and Part II, here.

Let us continue our adventure…

Throughout the gardens are statues

Some serious with haunting stone eyes

Others victorious and fancy free

Queenie’s favorite can be found in the herb garden

I don’t know his name but isn’t he wonderful!

You gotta love a mythological being who wears flip flops! Queenie’s favorite kingdom slipper

The herb garden

Is full of an assortment of herbs of course (tee hee tra la)

Rosemary not only by the garden gate but cascading over the garden wall

The last of the fall flowers in bloom

And the leaves of the grapevine turning a brilliant shade of red.

Queenie will leave you here today to enjoy the herb garden’s lily pond fountain and favorite wee creature.

The final installment Queenie and Honey Man’s adventures at the Getty Villa to come…

Have a great day!

Always, Queenie

The Getty Villa looks like a wonderful place. I liked your favourite statue too-like a weird bag pipe that he is riding!

Thanks for taking us along on your trip. The being with the flip flops reminds me of Pan.

All of your pictures are wonderful.

Blessings, V.
